With this database, the nexus Institute, managed by Prof. Hans-Liudger Dienel, the son of the “inventor” of the planning cells, wants to make the information on the planning cells / Citizens Juries conducted so far more accessible to all interested parties.

Peter Dienel

Peter Dienel was the first who designed the citizen participation procedure “planning cell”. For his achievements in this field he was honoured in 2003 by the Federal President Johannes Rau with the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class.
